When you send an enquiry

The contact form asks for your name, your email address, the kind of enquiry and your message. That goes to me as an email and nothing else happens to it — the website does not keep a copy. I keep the email in my own inbox so I can reply and so I have a record of what we agreed.

When you book a call

Booking a planning call stores your name, email and the time you chose in this website’s database, because the booking system needs to know the slot is taken and needs to be able to email you a reminder. That record stays until it is no longer needed for the job.

What the site keeps automatically

To stop the contact form being used to send spam, the site counts submissions from your internet connection for one hour. Your IP address is scrambled before it is stored, so it cannot be read back, and it is deleted after the hour. If the form finds a mistake in what you typed, what you typed is held for five minutes so the page can give it back to you, and then it is gone.

Payments

No money changes hands on this website. Every job is quoted individually and paid for separately, so this site never sees a card number, a bank detail or a billing address.

Tracking and cookies

There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking on this site. The booking system may set a cookie while you are part-way through choosing a time, so that going back a step does not lose your answers.

Other companies

The site is hosted by a web-hosting company and email is delivered by an email provider, so both handle your message in the course of carrying it. Neither is given your details for any other purpose, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone else.

Asking me to delete it

Write to me at the address below and I will delete what I hold about you, or tell you what that is. There is nothing to argue about here — it is your information.
